The Petshop To Host “Bark ‘N Learn” Summer Camp Workshop

The Petshop, the Middle East’s premier destination for all things pets, partners with Ginger Ways, a renowned force-free dog trainer in UAE and Stray Dogs Center, a rescue group to introduce Bark ‘N Learn; a dynamic five-day summer camp tailored to equip children with essential dog training skills and encourage responsible pet ownership. This initiative not only teaches kids responsibility but also gives rescued puppies a chance to get trained before they find their forever homes.  

Taking place at The Petshop’s Dubai Investment Park branch from 9 am to 10:30 am, this initiative seeks to educate children through hands-on learning experiences that emphasize understanding, empathy, and effective communication with dogs. Each day of the workshop series focuses on different aspects of dog training and care, starting with introductions and basic cues, progressing through enrichment and agility training to build confidence, culminating in hands-on grooming and expert nutritional tips & tricks plus basic veterinary practical’s, and concluding with a celebratory graduation day to highlight achievements and memorable moments. 

This initiative by The Petshop underscores its commitment to promoting responsible pet ownership and nurturing the next generation of compassionate pet owners. Bark ‘N Learn not only enhances the bond between pets and their families, but also encourages lifelong principles of respect and care for animals in the community. 

Participants can join for a single day at AED200 per child or opt for the full five-day experience at AED840 per child
